I bought some beautiful organic apples last week and there were a few that the kids wouldn’t eat (they had a few bruises and dints) so I came up with a Spiced Apple Pie Smoothie….OMG yes it was so good and I had it a few times (and one day I had 3!). It’s perfectly spiced and kinda tastes like apple pie.  


Spiced Apple Pie Smoothie

1 red apple, cored and chopped (skin on)

1 date, pitted

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 teaspoons grated ginger

½ teaspoon cinnamon and cardamom (each)

1 scoop protein powder

¾ cup of cold water

How to:

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
